Here’s my Tip of the Week: Bridal party preparation can be a wonderful experience and very rewarding when you see the end product. However, it can also be challenging if you are trying to meet expectations of the bride and keep the bridal party happy. Here are my favorite tips for preparing the bridal party.

* Set up a consultation with the bride/wedding planner to determine the look that the bride would like to achieve.
* Have accessories on hand for the bride/wedding planner to look at for possible use.
* Have bridal magazines on hand to help the bride to focus their ideas.
*Illustrate how certain accessories can work with both short and long hair.
*Schedule time slots for each member of the bridal party on the day of the wedding.
*Make sure to communicate the bride’s wishes to the bridal party. You will want to keep some samples of the photos and accessories on hand to show the bridal party.
*On the wedding day, if the bridal party is large, bring in an additional stylist to assist you.
