Here’s my Tip of the Week: Feeling good during the long seasonal workdays is so important if you want to have a productive and happy holiday. Here’s a few of my tips for making sure that happens:
First, make sure to keep snacks available for when you need some quick energy.
Second, always build a lunch break into your day no matter how busy you are.
Third; hydrate, hydrate and hydrate more! Keep water readily available and make sure you make an effort to drink as much as possible throughout the day.
Fourth, keep a sanitary workspace. This will help to keep germs and pesky illnesses to a minimum.
Fifth, go to bed earlier than normal. You will appreciate the extra rest when the days get long.
Sixth, stock up on vitamins. I like to be proactive and load up on Vitamin C. I also make sure to take a multi-vitamin because I know that my meal schedule may vary.
Finally, schedule a massage as a gift to yourself. You work hard and you deserve it!
