Here’s my Tip of the Week.
First impressions are always important, but never underestimate the power of the final impression either. Here’s some tips to ensure your final impression is as good as your first.
– Never rush your client out the door.
– Avoid cleaning up while your client is still there.
– Always make your client feel as important at the end of their
appointment as they do at the beginning.
– If your client confides something personal, consider sending a note
later to let them know you are thinking of them.
– Always acknowledge concerns with warm, sincere eye contact.
– Take a minute to sit and finish chatting after a long appointment.
Perhaps, if appropriate, even rub your client’s shoulder if they are in
your salon chair.
– Always offer to schedule another appointment before they leave.
– If your client pays you in cash never count the money in front of them.
– Throughout the appointment, be mindful of your time so that you can
finish without rushing.
