Looking at something that has made its way into high society? When it comes to hair trends at the Country Music Awards (CMA’s) we would be amiss if we failed to discuss the high ponytail and top knot. These two items are trending so hard that they are on the brink of becoming classics like the Bob.
Lindsey Vonn was a beautiful example of this look. Her hair was pulled up on her head in a top knot. It looked great as well as elegant. This look is so versatile that it can actually be worn on the red carpet or during a day at the beach.
Speaking of Bobs, Raelynn strutted a platinum blunt Bob that she wore a little straighter than her norm. Also enjoying the classic cut was Eve. Julia Michaels followed suit by wearing a Bob with a very soft wave.
Natural looks are so appealing. Another great one is curls! If you’re lucky enough to have curls, embracing them rather than steering away from them is definitely the route to go. Kimberly Schlapman, Lauren Alaina and Lindsay Ell were all terrific examples of how great that curls can look when they’re embraced.
In the lands of reds, Reba always takes the cake. Right beside her is Becky Lynch showing you can mix blondes with reds to give the hair a bit more depth and dimension.
As long as we’re talking shades, Cassadee Pope rocked her look with a darker root that melted into a lighter brown and finally, melted in light blonde ends. Just beautiful and it can be worn casually or for dressier occasions.
Last, but certainly not least, Gwen Stefani’s long straight locks always seem to memorize. She is certainly a starlet that has been seen in a an array of styles over the years and, as can be counted on, she wears them all well and with class.
