Gina noted that Jennifer Lopez rocked her lob with lots of texture: To get this look take hairspray or a pomade and emulsify it between your fingers. Next, pick up small strands and run through from midshaft to ends.

Halsey was also striking according to Gina.: She was on the red carpet with a gorgeous style that she has shown off in the past. Her hair was long, dark, and very rich looking. She is someone that can pull off just about any color or length of hair.  However, not everyone can do that so, be sure to consult with you stylist before going dark. A stylist is well trained to select the best color when it comes to matching skin tone.

For those with shorter hair who have a desire to wear long hair for a special event, Gina suggest hair extensions. They’re contemporary and a perfect alternative for changing up your style temporarily.

Gina also mentioned Tyra Banks. Specifically, the gorgeous ponytail that she wore.  This stays true to the fact that the ponytail isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.  It’s such a great look to wear as it’s fun for daytime and can be glammed up for an evening out, or even the red carpet.  It’s a look that’s becoming timeless and classic. Gina recommends placing the ponytail on different places on the head to obtain different looks and feels.

Z LA LA was an excellent display of hair art which Gina believes you can always count on at the award shows. Z LA LA was a testament to that. This is clearly a part of what makes the award shows so spectacular.

Gina always pays attention to curls and this show was no different. She selected Hailey Baldwin as a great example to illustrate how different curl patterns can be utilized to change and alter style. She also reflected on how wearing soft waves in conjunction to a more horizontal bend paves the path for a fun look. This simple adjustment allows for a lot of character in the style.
