Recently named to the Top 500 Franchise List by Entrepreneur Magazine, Phenix Salon Suites points to that focus on the salon professionals as key to the company’s blazing success and growth, racing toward 100 locations nationally, which regularly maintain a waiting list not long after opening.
Griffith and Phenix co-founder Jason Rivera have been personal friends for more than 20 years. Griffith was a regional manager of corporate accounts for Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Tennessee when Rivera first approached him in 2009 about  expanding the family’s business into the Phenix Salon Suites concept. In 2011 they opened a location in Altamonte Springs near Orlando.
As COO, Griffith does a lot of everything, and whatever it takes. What does he like most about his work? “I love walking into properties and seeing stylists being able to do what I always wanted to do: own my own business … It keeps me inspired.”
