About the Salon

I am a wife and mother of two beautiful girls, an educator of 17 plus years, licensed Esthetician and now mom-prenuer. Just like many of you reading this. As a working mom and as my family grew, time became more and more valuable. During this process I began going natural 13 years ago. This was a steep learning curve with costly products and more importantly time. I was over this phase of my life for myself, so I found an alternative to wearing my natural hair by investing in Sisterlocks (TM) in 2019. I know longer need to hope that I am having a good hair day and I am always cute. Why? Well it is simple. I reclaimed my time back, I am free from all the mountains of hair products and the hours of labor of love, I am Naturally ME. Naturally Locd was birthed out of my quest of being free from the worlds definition of beauty and standards. A child, of Trinidadian decent, the beauty and art of Locs is embedded in my DNA. With countless hours of formal training and certifications through various locking techniques. I became a Loc expert, Loc Coach, and Sisterlock (TM) Practitioner, to give back time to the many people who are respected in their professions, that may have found themselves in a similar situation as myself. Its time to renew, reignite purpose and thrive in your gifts without the fuss of hair. My hope is that we can join and encourage one another on our hair lock journeys together.Naturally Locd is a loc shop located in San Antonio, Texas that specializes in Sisterlocks TM, Interlocking, and Traditional locking techniques.
