Huffington Post: Gina Rivera on Men’s Hair on the Red Carpet

Checking out all of the remarkable looks that are seen on the red carpet is always one of the best parts of the evening. From the “wows” to the “awes” there’s really nothing that compares. This year I am saying “wow” more than ever, looking at their beautiful clothing, perfect smiles and of course, the incredible hairstyles. They’re amazing…I am talking our favorite male Stars.

The feminine beauty on the Hollywood scene cannot go denied, however, this year the men really knew how to strut their stuff. Gone are the days of a female dominated red carpet because the men have definitely arrived. From clothing to hairstyles, they really knew how to pull their looks together. Of course, I am always drawn to the hair and it certainly doesn’t change when it comes to evaluating our male superstars.

Right now, we are gearing up for the OSCARS so let’s quickly review what we saw at the Golden Globes this past month as we prepare for the giant of Hollywood.

Justin Timberlake, I just love this guy. He continuously seems to know how to grab the crowd’s eyes. His well-groomed beard and mustache worked well with his trendy fade that was topped off with his natural curls. It looked spectacular. Now, a lot of men couldn’t have pulled this off as well, but we can always rely on Justin for a great look.

Speaking of facial hair, Ryan Gosling looked incredibly sharp with his hair slightly slicked and just enough facial hair to make a statement. His overall look was clean and masculine. He looked just like he walked off of a classic movie set from the golden era. He was definitely a winner and not only for his stage performance but also for his terrific look.

Andrew Garfield also showed us that he understands good taste. He looked smashing wearing his dark full hair with a deep side part. However, he wasn’t the only one. Dew Patel illustrated that he has a fashion sense. His long locks fell loosely to his shoulders and clearly defined fabulous.

So move over ladies, the men are headed to the Oscars and I can’t wait to see them!
